The Colonel's Weekend Breaks can be quite exhausting, with five hours' sleep a night not an unusual occurrence. After a couple of days of this, the Colonel's Regiment are exhausted. Moules makes up for this by taking several micro sleeps during the day. A micro sleep is a state of semi-consciousness whereby an individual can relax for a few minutes and recover some energy. Moules regularly takes micro sleeps whilst sat on trains or buses on the third day excursion. An average micro sleep lasts about five minutes, and provides many a photo opportunity for the remainder of the Colonel's Regiment. Rupert also sometimes takes micro sleeps.
