Rupert has not yet made up his mind whether he is a disgruntled boy or a dicking around boy. Whilst he is a disgruntled boy at heart, he somehow feels he should support Chris and Dave when they are dicking around. This became apparent with his support of their trip to Newgrange in Ireland - how he regretted it! He also proved himself to be something of a dicking around boy in Monterosso near Mission 5 5 Genoa, when Chris expressed his desire to explore whilst the rest of the Colonel's Regiment were chilling, by saying, "Dave and I will see you later". Dave stunned everyone by saying, "Will we?" At this point Rupert felt he had to support Chris so went off and did some dicking around with him. He showed his true comedy style on Mission 4 4 Salzburg by shouting "Stop telling me what to do!" through a traffic cone attached to the ground. Rupert caused controversy on Mission 1 1 Paris when he won the first draw, despite not wanting to put a destination into the hat and only throwing in 2 Dublin when his arm was twisted. Chris' subsequent declaration that "At least there'll be no Alan applications in Dublin!" was ironic to say the least. As he soon found out there was, "more to Ireland, dan dis!" Rupert has a unique way of picking Colonel's break destinations - he will only select places he has been to before or have been highly recommended to him.
