Yorkshire term used to mean a narrow alleyway. Sometimes the use of Yorkshire phrases proves very confusing for Moules. He sometimes tries to claim that whoever uses the Yorkshire phrase is using incorrect English. Other times he tries to work out from first principles exactly where the phrase comes from.
