Nick gains his place as an associate Colonel's man thanks to a one-off trip to 2 Dublin for mission 2. In Dublin he cemented a permanent place amongst the dicking around boys as he dragged the regiment all over Ireland to look at neolithic crap. He was a welcome addition to the Dublin experience, and not only for vomming in a bag on the way to Newgrange (an episode which prompted the application of the break). Having been on only one Colonel's break, he has failed to qualify to put a destination into the hat for any subsequent breaks.
